Highlights of Yesterday (June 22)


(The ambassadors participated in a Church service during the morning. The building is over a century old, and one of the only remaining churches built by Jamaican slaves)

(In the afternoon, the ambassadors took on a group of community soccer players in a fun and engaging game)

"It was one thing to paint the Duncan Elementary school building with some students from the school, but a whole other to paint with Jordan Hayes, who is the great-great-grandchild of Paul bogle. It was inspiring and rewarding." - Mr. Smith

What We Took From Yesterday (June 20)

(Snorkeling trip early in the morning)

(Met some new friends at an evening concert and barbeque located at a nearby park)


-Highlights of the Day:

"I really enjoyed playing with some young kids at the concert. I loved the constant smile they had, and found it amazing how they didn't care what they were doing as long as they were doing it with friends." -Emily

"Listening to James sing "Danny Boy" at the concert in front of all those people was incredibly brave." - Jordan

"Snorkeling was my highlight since seeing all the different sea life and swimming in the clear water was so cool." - Michael

"I thought that the best part of the day was when I went snorkeling in the deep ocean and feeling re-energized." -James

"I really learned a lot from the college presentation, since very soon I'll be applying that information in real life." -Gaby

"I liked the concert because James sang, and he's a really good singer." - Maiya

"I liked the snorkeling because we explored the coral reef and it was beautiful." - Gigi
